On a deep, soul level — what are you craving?
Reflect — December 24, 2023
If you celebrate Christmas, we know today can be a hectic one — especially if you’re a parent or caregiver. So we want to bring you something of a refuge in the storm of productivity that can come with the holidays.
When we let our brains have a break, suddenly there’s space for all kinds of possibility. Our minds are freed up to imagine, to solve problems, or just to play. It’s a small but revolutionary act, to give ourselves even a moment of that space to simply be — and it can be very hard to find in our culture of extractive capitalism.
So for today, our practice is simply to rest — even if only for a few breaths.
Since we’re sitting with this big question about what you’re really craving, we wanted to help you clear away the holiday noise (no offense, Mariah Carey) and tap into your own thoughts.
Follow the animation here to slow down your breathing, drop into your body, and find your own inner compass as you reflect. Take at least five deep breaths.
